GabeeN (aka Gabor Bacsardi) made a survey in his mind about minimal techno and gave us the result as an EP at Audioexit. Gabeen is a hardtechno producer and this is his first minimal tech release and also his first release at Audioexit. Detroit, electro, trance, house, minimal and funk meet on the dissection table to become later a piece for consuming. Thanks to Gabeen’s knowledge in music and positioning elements well, this EP is one of the most balanced release at the label.

At Audioexit we`re happy and proud to announce the release "At home there" by Australian producer Roland Black. The smooth minimal-tech pieces have a light funky and dubby tone like hot chocolate on an ice-cream. Taking the original traxs in a new direction Mr.Rob’s (PCMN) At Home There remix adds a flowing basslines like smooth silky carpet,creating a new composition in its own right. Maurel’s live for Backlash injects a dose of breakbeat and tech-house rhythms creating a strictly dancefloor targeted feel.

Mindctrl depicts very melody-oriented world with this new EP at Audioexit. Previously used and loved tech-house and electro themes and patterns define the borders of his language in music without repeating them. Merops Apiaster starts with crabby state and continues with a cool theme. The next track, Chewing Gum Poisoning is very playful with trance things and "Dubfire-like smoke sounds". Vision is like a "showman" a little bit flash-electro lovers would adore this song, but the guys from the faculty of arts with their retro glasses will also love the closing track Molecular Dance. This track is captivating with the balance of rousing and deep attributes and also perfect for dancefloor.

Last year Jemset had 7 digital/netlabel releases and several mixtapes. Audioexit releases now his first release this year. 26- year-old Frenchman continues to evoke the Detroit-Berlin line compounded with the contemporary minimal-techno. After his first Audioexit release, Train No.7 now he shows 3 different tracks on his EP. The initial Typhanie is a true minimal-tech, you have to play it loud to receive it. It comes from deep with assertive beats which generates dark, meditative state. After this track (which evokes 90's Stewart Walker and Mikael Stavöstrand) the second one, Work It is a more dancefloor-oriented piece. Villalobos can come into your mind while you are listening but in this track the tune can't dominate because of the background noises and distorted human speech. But Document's (Track No.3) initial tune is a dominant moment. This crooning simply crawls into the structure of the track, which is more deranged by the noises and effects.

Comparing to the first, funny and excentric compilation of the label's minimal section (Viva La Fuerza 1), Our Theatre is a little bit smoother and cuts more uniformized dash. Thanks to representing different genres from a wide spectrum the judgement is easier. The opening track, Untitled 007 from Dark Quality is a funny, dancefloor oriented electro-house piece with a lot of breaks and fine blocks and the well-known dirty samples. Track24 from Gregor Hooter is just a boost of this electro-house effect, using the modulations of one theme. The changing point is Sauntering from Jay Saunter. The elements and arrangement of this work is deep-house speciality but the BPM is more likely of a detroit-techno track. Strongest chapter is Tom Speedline's Offline which can make the alloy of 21st century dark techno feeling with natural, stripped-down ingredients of minimal tech. Closing track, Backlash from Wildcrush is a bizarre and unique work with also dark, electronic sounds closed between the borders of a dancefloor-buster offbeat-techno track.

If the netlabel scene/electronic music scene would have an internationally represented Documenta (-->http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Documenta) in which the contemporary techno pieces could be shown for the expert public, Pablo Gallo's Coal Extraction EP could be the one of these pieces. Presence of complexity, extreme deepness and plasticity is remarkable in the songs while they can preserve their persistent style. Alloy of noise, industrial and break-tech is the opening Coal Extraction, without the well-konown standards, followed by the break-techno of Hand Made, built on subbass modulation and fine breaks and effects. The Start of The End is a more lyrical dubtechno/tech-house hybrid piece compared to the previous ones with strings, distorted pianos and a whack of melancolia. The ending, Viernes13 is a worthy completion of this ageless compilation. The track made with the precision of the soundtrack-writers has a short intro and after that it slopes down in very deep noisebags with slow, low-key rhythms and dense, heavy atmosphere. Brilliant stuff!

High-standard and humour flow out from Submix's Anchor EP which is an alloy of minimal, electro and slushiness of 80's. Retro road-movie mood comes with first track, Batiscafo. It can compete any Dj Hell's epic electro work in audacity and elegance but it is smoothly counterpointed by the minimal miniature of next piece Bluebox, split it up into pixels. The darker, deeper Crusader (which was made with extreme precision) means harder change, followed by the fine electro-hit with gentle sound-carpets, Polar, which is a good ending of this luscious packet.

Elektric Shaker's Bounds EP hides robust minimal techno equipped with huge infantilism which can satisfy the lovers of experimental-minimal sound and also the techno fans of slow, classic Mosquito-atmosphere. The initial piece which is built upon bubble-like feedbacks and funky stlye grotesques is followed by a more friendly, more playful, kraut-techno-like, nostalgic, motoric video-game sounding, sweet track (DisRup Ted). Deepness of Christian Vogel and the wallowing, stagnating, exstatic sound of Mercurochrome style rules the last part, Si Gn, which closes very stylishly this small, bizarre minimal gem.

Jemset's 4 track hybrid-EP, Train No.7 is a juicy experiment of reconsidering the re-formations and deformations of a single. This creative experiment for deconstruction is a well-known method in the history of electronic music, but this time it's an other point of view. The strong, haggard and cold base-effects reveal new and new forms of themselves. With this, not only the creative rework of the track could be problematic. The question is that can something more than a hidden remix behind an interpretation The opening piece, Train No.7 (77. Mix) is maybe the darkest, most excentric work of the compilation giving the opposite feeling of the sunny, happy style minimal which can be heard anywhere day by day. Slides, rhytmical bubbles, scratchy sub-bass carpets and indetermination. Next Train No.7 (Berlin Earlymix) and Train No.7 (Berlin Late to 8 mix) are also come from a good idea. These tracks are similar to early and late Tresor-style techno, with funky, light sounding in first and a bit tighter tunes in the second. Closing piece Train No.7 (Tunneling mix) is a dark ambient/electronica without compromise which can be partly considered to a stripped-down instrumental version of the original.

Argentinian Nic Hurryn has created his four-track EP, Malditos Parasitos!!! as an exemplary one, not just in the minimal circle but all in all, let's put it in ordinary, in the good old shallow tendencies of party culture as well. A release that would be difficult to categorize. Reasonably, in this case it could be placed into the category of the experimental, though it is not to be found on the palette of the label, but at the same time it also keeps the distance from its salon-decadency. So, on good grounds, it appears in this bundle, even though it stays away from the expected funk, minimal-house and hitting beat-chains. What is it then To the core, a concept-minimal, ambient-techno that is making experiments in a way of lacking musical redundancy and not meeting any reasonable expectations. Coming from an author who realised that the phosphorescence among genres and languages can result in a salutary adventure beyond registers and samples which will hopefully inspire other talented authors one day. Leaving behind the sour glitchy kraut-electronica Synodontidae, recalling Microstoria an original minimal paraphrase is audible with free-jazz type of breaks, dying guitar-riffs, quiet subbass carpet and with an occasionally appearing alarm-sound. In The Monster Behind You "horror movie soundtrack" the classical avantgarde music comes up, recalling the sounding of Ligeti and Vidovszky, decorated with with fine acid passages and slow breaks. The acoustically aberrant Cysticercosis stripped-down, peridically striving for breaks, is wandering between techno and electro-minimal, time and again. The final piece of the selection, Acidcrappy takes a more familiar, Isolée way of nostalgic, bitter sounding; all these with exclusively refined basses and parody-like, contorted sections ridiculing the acid dawn of techno culture voting in favour of a new electronic musical culture.
