Blue Awakening (aka Plastic Loopz) new EP is a lighter one than his other releases, eg. at Darkaudio Netlabel. These four tracks are for summer mood and every of them are based upon tech-house with a little bit of electro. They also operate with melodical trance elements. Summarized that, this EP is a great compilation, perfectly follow nowadays trends and suits among the tracks in similar genres.

You will think Barzie?s Peace of War EP is a true and clear pearl ? if you listen it. This EP gives a deep digging into minimal, electro, jazz and 8bit sounds in the 4 tracks. The initial Happy Times evokes the verdant electro of 80?s then it brings a smooth, atmospheric sound carpet which makes this track complete ? you can find out that Barzie knows very well the music of videogames. Real Fellow Sufferer can show the same tone with more intensive bpm and fine accordion samples followed by the pulsating tech-house of Smilewhore with distorted guitars. The final piece, To Each Other could be a good soundtrack for any epic movie of Jean Pierre Jeunet.

[AeDeep003]Mindctrl - Librium

Artist: Mindctrl
Title: Librium
Label: Audioexit Records / ae-deep
Cat. Nr: AeDeep003
Quality: 320 kbps
Year: 2008

Mindctrl?s Librium EP wears dub, electro, tribal, house and new wave attributes as well and handles it authentical but it can?t be categorized into any category of above listed: it is an intoxicating roam into the sound of the 80?s and the 21st century. The opening piece, Dub in Libria has a classic dub-techno sound but it?s just a gentle but very accurate ascent to the excentric, enriched electro of Pirates. The fine tech-house beats of the most powerful track of the compilation, Test 01 flow into a scalped acid-house environment to give the place for the following That Sound which comes with original, retro style new-wave electro.

[AeDeep002]Kaito - Living Dreams

It?s very hard for any critic to write a review about Kaito?s Living Dreams EP. Why? Because it has all the flavour which were carried out by this genre over the years so we can speak about a nearly perfect house-album. Exceptionally delicate basses, warm, chilly sounding, a pinch of female vocal and of course, a little bit of trance which can soften and make deeper the mood of whole material without leaving the pulsating ?pumpin? sector. According to the formula mentioned before, the opening track K1 is a remarkably clear, streaming piece with dense, smooth sequential effects. Only the sob-inducing, long trip of K2 can be equivalent with it. The following MX is a more rigorous creation leading into tech-house and rounded stylishly into a unique complex by the retro-chill sounding of closing track, Project 83

[AeDeep001]Maurel - Round Trip

The deep section?s first work, Round Trip issued by Maurel, can be regarded as a really fair one. The four-track EP goes for a short roam from house soaked with trance through tribal up to soft-techno in a way of keeping its airy and atmospheric character all the while. The album initial Primeval is an esoteric trance round with huge bridges, yet with a slower and more balanced pace, due to which the composition can stay on the verge of tribal-house. The upcoming Space Ward is a lot more haggard, stodgy and intensive piece, in which only the keyboard movement slightly building on the bassdrums can ease the music not to be so stout. The most mature work of the selection is Rush, which could also have been an outstanding summer stand-off for Sander Kleinenberg?s Ibizan movements. The soft sound samples piled upon each other and the more harmonious latin-conga insections result in an amazingly exciting and sparkling piece. The EP final Eivissa Noon is an intimate creation, to whose light pulsation and jazzy up-beat is the electric guitar sequence joined, as a surprising yet stylish additive.
